Beginners Leatherwork

During this introductory session you will use a range of leather crafting techniques and tools in order to create one of two products: sunglasses case or a book cover.

You will start by choosing your leather from a selection of Egyptian and Italian leathers. You will then go through the stages of pattern cutting, polishing, leather cementing, hammering, stitching and hole punching your product.

You will also have the opportunity to stamp letters or shapes into the design to personalise your design.

(NOTE - if you would like to store a specific pair of glasses/sunglasses please bring them along so you can use the correct pattern).
